“I think we should destroy the bogus capitalist process that is destroying youth culture.”
currently discovering Radio Dept’s album right now…. already love song number dos
It’s a short 34 minute album, which makes it pretty unique. Listening to the whole album the whole way through is the best way to do it (as with every album no?).
Great upbeat indie with a dash of 90s pop? I don’t know but it’s making studying a little more bearable.
I posted a song by Crystal Fighters last week, but here is their most popualr song. This video is kind of ridiculous, but in a capitvating-Ican’tstopwatchingthis way.
I also really love anything that incorporates any little tidbits of Portuguese… it’s a fettish of mine.

I have not been able to stop listening to Home for the last… few months, undoubtedly the most popular song of Edward Sharpe and the magnetic zeros. Here I’ve posted a slight remix, just to mix it up.
I pretty much love everything about this band, incredible live, incredible on disography. The energy they deliver is undeniable.
Keeping a lookout for them in DC
“well hot and heavy, pumpkin pie, chocolate candy, jesus christ, there ain’t nothin’ please me more than you…”
Crystal Fighters are blowing up my ipod right now.
Great flow for a Friday morning.
Pretty Lights-Finally moving is a song that has been on my repeat for the last month. This album has been out for a while, but I never realized how good this tune is until recently. Put it on repeat on the way to work, class, strolling through the aisles of Trader Joes, whatever frosts your cookie.
Welp, guess I couldn’t stay off the blog scene for too long. At first I considered continuing on to my last China blog, but then I realized that my experience in China/Asia was such a unique one that it should be kept isolated in its own little blog. Should I return there, I will continue on with that blog.
I hate to be dull here, but this blog is more of a fun thing for me. I can’t promise you any cultural discoveries, ridiculous stories or life-changing revelations. Instead it’s going to be more of me sharing my thoughts, discoveries, photos, and most importantly, music discoveries.
Soak it up.
